Frequently Asked Questions

All of our guests must be at least 4 months of age.

Williamsburg Pet Hotel and Suites requires all dogs who participate in doggie daycamp be spayed or neutered by 6 months old.

Williamsburg requires all dogs to be up to date on their Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccines. The canine influenza vaccine is not required but is highly recommended. Cats must be up to date on Rabies, and Feline Distemper.

Williamsburg does not discriminate based on dog breed. We love all breeds and love the uniqueness of all of our guests.

Not all pets are the same, and most have needs that are different from others. If your pet has any special needs, just let us know.

Every pet is different and deserves the personalized care they need. If your pet has any special needs, just let us know before dropping them off.

Our boarding services provide individual rooms for each dog that are climate-controlled and have a personal attendant assigned to care for your pet’s needs. If your furry friend attends doggie daycare, they will share a large outdoor space with other dogs of their temperament. We also have indoor spaces they may share.

If you have questions or concerns regarding this matter, feel free to contact us for more information.

Absolutely! We are equipped to store and serve all types of food, including refrigerated or frozen food. For these foods, we simply ask that you know the amount of food that is fed based on a standard measuring cup, or that it is pre-bagged into individual meals.

Of course! We allow you to bring in your own bedding from home. Pets often enjoy having a piece of their home with them. For safety reasons,  we prefer not to have items that are filled with stuffing. We also encourage blankets to be brought in over large beds as they are easy to be washed, if needed.  Beds with easily removable covers are allowed.

We love hearing from parents and giving them an update on how their furry family member is doing! Give us a call or shoot us a text and we will update you as quickly as we can!

Not a problem!  Plans change and we completely understand. We ask that you give us a call as soon as you know so that we can ensure that he/she receives their grooming, or other services requested.  If no notice is provided, those services may not be able to be completed.

Our busy seasons run parallel to the times that children are out school— major holidays and the summer months. If you know you’re traveling during peak times, we encourage you to make a reservation as early as possible to ensure we have space for your pet.

During normal seasons, we recommend calling a week or two in advance, especially if you’re wanting to book one of our suites. In the summer and around major holidays, we recommend booking at least one month in advance to get your preferred room.
